A cute forwarded video, indeed!

I hope everyone enjoyed the low key holidays in their own way with their family and loved ones. As I upgraded to a new laptop, and also a new phone, it gave me a glimpse of some old photographs, videos and memories. Amidst so many that brought a smile to my face, I make particular mention of one video that I enjoyed perhaps the most. This was a forwarded short clip of a cooing baby, under 2 months old. We all receive so many forwards that if you are like me, you get a little blasé looking at one more cute video. So, why then am I particularly mentioning this one? What makes it special?

Well, as a matter of fact, this was not a video of a random baby. This baby’s mother had come to me after a history of miscarriages. She was pregnant again, and wanted Pranic Healing in addition to her regular doctor’s visits. She dutifully sent me all her scan and ultrasound reports so that I could look at her reports and adjust the healing according to whatever the report showed. Unfailingly, this young mother-to-be reported on her progress, her condition, her state of mind. This kind of client participation is well worth appreciation. She was truly my partner in the healing. As the healing progressed, so did her baby milestones. She went about without any fear, without aches and pains, without swelling or bloating, without any adverse effects of the pregnancy. There were a few things that came up in the reports, but as the healing progressed, none of them became significant issues.

After healing her through her pregnancy, I also had the pleasure to heal her during labour. Given her history, her Obstetrician had scheduled her day of delivery, with an aim to either induce labor, or if that didn’t work out, then to do a C Section. As it turned out, the labour was induced, and the only intervention she asked for was an epidural. She delivered the baby, and this was the same baby who’s video I was receiving. The healing progressed for a couple more weeks to help the young mother recover.

I felt an immediate glow of satisfaction on seeing the baby. I am always awed by the seeming magic of Pranic Healing whenever a client feels better or recovers. I understand the science behind it, and intellectually I know it is based on laws of nature, and not on some mystical magic. But, the true magic of what it is comes to the fore when the result of the healing is a cooing little bundle of joy, transforming the lives of the entire family. In my case, it was indeed a Happy Diwali!!
