The Burn Non-Identity

In this article, I am going to jump to the present. Just this last weekend, after months of having Pranic Healing related sessions move online, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting people face-to-face via a Basic Pranic Healing Class, with the current norm of very limited people, temperature check, mask-on all the time, sanitization and other hygiene factors. These seemed like minor adjustments to make to have the energy of a face-to-face interaction. Since Pranic Healing is by nature a no-touch healing modality, it is perhaps well suited to the current situation the World finds itself in. One of the things that is taught in the first level Pranic Healing Class is how to heal minor issues like a nosebleed, a cut and a burn. It is several years since I first learnt Pranic Healing. My clients rarely come to me asking me to heal a small burn or a cut. So, unless something happens at home, I rarely treat these minor things. As a professional Pranic Healer, sometimes we get caught up in the more severe and serious ailments. Perhaps I needed a reminder of how we can use Pranic Healing for the basic, day to the day events in life. At the venue, I was trying to light incense. After the incense was lit, my fingertip happened to touch the burning incense. The tips of our fingers are rather sensitive to pain, so there was an immediate pain factor, and some slight skin distress as well. I just healed myself for a few minutes as a matter of routine, and then got involved in the class that was happening. I forgot about this minor burn. After a while, when I remembered that I had had this, then only I checked my finger. Obviously for me to forget about it, the pain had already vanished, but when I looked, so did the burn mark as well. As if this wasn’t enough, I did it AGAIN!! I was again lighting incense, and instead of a matchbox, I was trying to use a lighter that was there. And would you believe it, it was my finger that touched the flame, not the incense! This time, because I happened to touch the flame directly, instead of touching a small incense stick, the burn was immediately visible, and painful of course. Back to healing again, and after some time, the same result. No pain, no burn mark, not even a trace of something that had happened just a few minutes back. After years of practising Pranic Healing, I shouldn’t be surprised to get results like this, but I am still awed by the seeming magic of it!
